The Buddy Holly Story Synopsis :

I en alder af blot 22 år havde Buddy Holly alt: En super-karriere med flere top-hits, en dejlig kone og et barn på vej. Alt dette forandredes på et øjeblik, da rock-stjernens fly styrtede ned i Iowa den 3. februar 1959, og hans kun 3-årige karriere sluttede, før den rigtig var begyndt. Alligevel huskes Buddy Holly i dag som en af rockmusikkens absolut største stjerner. I en tid, hvor rock'n'roll blev betragtet som "Djævelens musik" af kirken og som noget "kun negre skulle rode med", var Buddy Hollys musik noget nær en bombe under den hvide amerikanske middelklasse.
